Integrative Primary Care Now Available at Tula Wellness

Andria Pizzato

Tula Wellness has welcomed Andria Pizzato, DNP, FNP, and they are now accepting new patients in integrative primary care medicine, a comprehensive approach to prevent disease and find the root causes of chronic conditions. It takes into account the whole person (body, mind, and spirit) to address healthcare needs at all stages of life, emphasizing the therapeutic relationship between patient and practitioner.

Pizzato holds a Doctorate of Nursing from University of Arizona with an emphasis in family medicine. She is a graduate from Dr. Andrew Weil’s Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine fellowship class of 2017 and has done multiple education courses in functional medicine. She has a background in both integrative medicine research and integrative primary care for all ages. She views the mind-body-spirit connection as integral to health and healing, and collaborates with her patients to empower the creation of balance in their lives.

Integrative primary care involves both detailed history taking and cutting-edge diagnostics to evaluate how one’s environment, lifestyle, personal beliefs, psychosocial experiences and genetics impact health, and utilizes a mix of complementary medicine with conventional therapies to facilitate health and disease prevention.

The personalized medicine with tailored testing modalities, uses a balance of prescription and nutraceutical treatments in the following conditions: primary care services (physicals, PAP smears, prostate exams); digestive issues; food sensitivities/allergies; thyroid disorders; cardiovascular disease; diabetes management; neural therapy; homeopathic injection; chronic fatigue syndrome; fibromyalgia; men’s health; women’s health; bio identical hormone replacement; genetic testing; and more.
