Carol Henricks

A  s  a result of Governor Ducey signing HB2513 into law on March 29, supporting hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) in the treatment of military veterans with toxic and concussion-related injury, NorthStar Hyperbaric is moving forward with treating post-9/11 veterans. There will be no charge for veterans.

NorthStar Hyperbaric is an alternative treatment center in Tucson that uses HBOT to deliver the benefits of 100 percent medical grade oxygen under pressure to injured tissues, which is recognized as an effective treatment for TBIs, memory loss, neuro-degenerative conditions, MS, stroke recovery and more.

Participation involves an initial screening appointment/neurological exam, a brain MRI – DTI, specialized visual screening, a hair analysis for toxicity and possibly bloodwork, explains Dr. Carol Henricks. “Treatment will include a nutrient optimization protocol and 40, one-hour hyperbaric oxygen treatments at 1.5 ata with 100 percent oxygen. There will be a follow-up assessment.
