Natural Awakenings Tucson

YWCA Hosts Tucson Means Business Forum

The Tucson Means Business Forum—a free event that aims to guide female business owners through the process of getting a license, insurance, health permits and more—will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., September 22 at the Francis McClelland Community Center. City officials from the health department, license and taxes, procurement, lenders and more will be on site to answer all questions and help every step of the way.

“The City of Tucson is home to majestic saguaros, scenic mountains and the best food in the world. Designated a city of gastronomy by UNESCO, Tucson is no longer a best kept secret. If you’re looking to share your culinary masterpieces with the world, or bring out the best of Tucson flavor in your own quaint café, you are going to need more than just great food,” says [need a speaker here, and their title]. “This process can be daunting, but you don’t have to go it alone. The Women’s Business Center and WARD I City Council Member Regina Romero’s Office are here to help.”

Location: 525 N. Bonita Ave., Tucson. For more information and to register, call 520-884-7810 x106 or visit YWCATucson.org.
