Positive Music Artist Daniel Nahmod will headline a concert with Sue Riley and Richard Mekdeci, co-founders of Empower Music and Arts (EmpowerMA.com), at 7 p.m., on September 9, at The Donald R. Nickerson Performing Arts Center, in Tucson. Nahmod is a California singer/songwriter, producer and humanitarian who has performed his heart-opening original music to over a million people across the U.S. and Canada, selling over 100,000 CDs. 

Nahmod’s poetic, evocative message of peace, love and compassion crosses all nationalities, cultures and faiths with overwhelming acceptance wherever he performs. Featured on numerous cable and radio broadcasts in over 90 countries, at cultural festivals, interfaith and environmental fairs, workshops and conferences and youth rallies, Nahmod has been a keynote musical presenter at benefits for Habitat For Humanity, Operation USA, Anti-Defamation League and others.

He presents his spectacular, inclusive message to nearly all of the world’s faiths, and performs with international thought leaders, including Jean Houston, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra, Mark Victor Hansen, Arun Gandhi (Gandhi’s grandson), Yolanda King (Dr. King’s daughter), Rhonda Britten (of NBC’s Starting Over) and Neale Donald Walsch.
