Enroll in HEART Series Now

Enrollment is open for the local HEART series, a medically-directed, hands-on program for anyone who wants to prevent, halt or reverse coronary artery disease. The 12-week program includes three-hour sessions from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesdays, beginning February 7 and ending April 25. The aim of the program is to improve the quality and length of life by teaching the skills that will lead to health and happiness through prevention.

The 22-year-old program is led by Tucson cardiologist Dr. Charles Katzenberg, a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center, and Edna Silva, RN, a cardiac rehab nurse and the founder of the T’ai Chi Center of Tucson. Seating is limited.

A free lecture will be given by Edna Silva and Richard Feinberg at the TJCC, 3800 East River Road, in Tucson, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., January 8. Feinberg will talk about how the Heart Series program changed his lifestyle and saved his heart 22 years ago.

For more information and to register, call Edna Silva at 520-544-3720 or Richard Feinberg at 520-797-2281.
