The Loft Cinema will host a The Sound of Music sing-a-long, at both noon and 6 p.m., April 15. Attendees can enjoy the beloved, Oscar-winning 1965 musical extravaganza in this specially-restored version with on-screen lyrics so that everyone can sing along, and receive a complimentary “Magic Moments Fun Pack”, filled with props and goodies to use throughout the show. Those who come dressed in Sound of Music attire and join an onstage costume contest before the movie.

Cheer on the plucky Maria (Julie Andrews) as she moves to Austria, becomes the governess for the von Trapp family, teaches the children music, battles the bad guys and even falls in love with the dashing Captain von Trapp (Christopher Plummer). “This is glorious, music-filled fun for the whole family, so whether you’re an adult, a child, or sixteen going on seventeen, break out that lederhosen, climb every mountain and make your way to the Sing-A-Long Sound of Music for a magical movie experience you won’t soon forget,” says J.J.
