Happy New Year! This year, 2024, also happens to be a very special one for Natural Awakenings. It’s our 30th Anniversary!

To celebrate, you may notice that we’ve got a new, fresh look this month. “We promise to remain steadfast in our commitment to high-quality, evidence-based journalism to help our readers stay current and make informed decisions for sustainable, regenerative healthy living,” our CEO Kimberly Whittle shares. “Beginning this month and throughout our 30th year, we invite our readers and business owners to check out what’s new in our print magazines and online.”
For more on our anniversary and some exciting additions to Natural Awakenings coming this year, read the letter from our CEO on pages 24 and 25.

As always, we have plenty of variety in both this print edition and our website, where you can find even more articles that didn’t fit into these packed pages. This month, we’re highlighting aging gracefully in our feature article on page 18, EMF home assessments, processed food addiction and some great local art shows.

I hope you have a healthy, positive start to the year. We are so happy you’re here to celebrate with us all year long.

In good health,
Holly
