Unwind at Tucson’s Healing Spirit Soaks

Dec 01, 2019 05:58PM
Healing Spirit Soaks is Dr. Jasmine May’s new venture into the wonderful world of water and plant medicine. Balancing delightfully between a community bath house and a boutique spa, her space is a gorgeous sanctuary in which to soak away stress. Featuring two cedar hot tubs with ionizer and ozone technology, a modern tub for cold water plunges, a deep copper claw foot tub for customized herbal full body soaks, an amethyst infrared biomat and cedar infrared sauna, May’s soaking studio—richly adorned with murals by local artists—is the perfect place to reconnect with inner peace and the Healing Spirit.

Both contrast hydrotherapy and herb soak sessions begin with a cup of tea and a CBD salt scrub to amplify your experience of self-care and love—as well as for promoting detox and increased metabolism. They have a room dedicated for vaginal herbal steaming, which is helpful for all manner of pelvic issues and general reproductive health.

May is also offering auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture) treatments—especially helpful for any pain condition—and herbal foot soaks in her welcome room: Healing Spirit Bar. Appointments are not necessary, but helpful.

Available by appointment are CBD Thai massage, neuropathy massage, reflexology and Bowen bodywork. Meditation classes and naturopathic workshops are held monthly. Healing Spirit Soaks is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., though they are closed most Tuesdays. Weekend services are by appointment only. Evening soak times will be coming soon.

Location: 1074 N. Swan, Tucson. For more information, call 520-344-3250 or email HealingSpiritSoaks.com.
