Yoga Teacher Training Offers Path to Deeper Learning
Triangle Pose
The Yoga Connection is inviting aspiring and experienced practitioners to deepen their practice through its upcoming yoga teacher training programs. Rooted in the idea that “to teach is to learn,” the training emphasizes that a strong foundation in yoga begins with personal understanding and experience.
Through the study of yoga poses and philosophy, participants gain insight into their own bodies, including strengths and limitations. This awareness not only enhances personal practice, but also prepares students to guide others with clarity and confidence. While instructors provide informed support, the program highlights the importance of self-exploration as a key component of learning.
The Yoga Connection, Tucson’s only active nonprofit yoga center, offers both 200- and 300-level teacher training certifications. These programs meet Yoga Alliance® standards and are designed to equip participants with the skills needed to teach students of all levels. In addition to physical postures, the curriculum includes foundational tools for effective instruction and a deeper understanding of yoga principles.
A new certification training intensive begins June 1. A free information session will be held from 3 to 4 p.m., May 2.
