Transformational Medicine is now offering Retatrutide, an investigational weight-loss medication that has shown significant results in clinical trials. Retatrutide is a once-weekly injectable “triple agonist” that activates GIP,  GLP-1 and glucagon receptors. While clinical studies have reported average weight loss of 26 to 29 percent of body weight at higher doses, the medication has not yet received FDA approval.

According to Transformational Medicine, Retatrutide is designed to suppress appetite, slow gastric emptying, improve sugar cravings, enhance insulin sensitivity and increase energy expenditure. The addition of glucagon receptor activation may contribute to increased fat burning and metabolic activity.

Patients participating in the program are monitored by a physician and check in every two weeks to review progress, have vitals recorded, discuss any concerns and receive ongoing support. While the medication can be administered once weekly, some patients may choose smaller, more frequent doses under physician guidance.

The clinic recommends combining the medication with a clean, lean diet, weight-bearing exercise and medical supervision. Clinical trial data cited by the clinic indicate that nearly all participants lost at least 5 percent of their body weight, with some individuals losing as much as 71 pounds over approximately 68 weeks.

Transformational Medicine offers a 12-week supply for $200, which includes syringes and needles. Patients must establish care with the clinic and receive a prescription from one of its physicians before beginning treatment.
