Would you like to steer our desert community toward a more sustainable future?  Join our Ambassadors Academy offering information and strategies to give participants the foundation for advancing sustainable policies and programs at the local level. Training topics include climate change impacts and adaptation; water security; the circular economy; alternative transportation; green infrastructure; indigenous perspectives on sustainability; sustainable housing; communication processes and burn-out prevention.  Sessions meet Saturday mornings with about an hour of weekly reading.   Full and partial scholarships available.  For information contact Stuart Moody, [email protected]
