Join Shawna for a 2 hour chakra balancing restorative yoga class. Restore and rebalance your body's natural energy centers.

Explore the relationship between restorative yoga asanas and the 7 primary chakras. When asanas are combined with breath, visualization, mudra and mantra, they can have a direct effect on the energy flow within the body and chakra system. Chakra balancing creates a sense of equilibrium between your body, mind and spirit. When your chakras are returned to their natural frequencies, inner peace, well- being, and joy will follow!
A Restorative Yoga practice encourages your body, mind and soul to relax and reconnect. In this workshop, traditional restorative yoga postures gently stretch and open participants, by gently coaxing your body and brain to release more deeply. Tension melts away, the busy monkey mind slows down, circulation and digestion improve, and creativity comes forth.
~Restorative Yoga uses props to achieve maximum support of the body while holding a shape/pose. We will have props available for use, but if you have them, please bring your own to class; cushions, bolsters, pillows, rolled up blankets, towels, blocks or books are all things that come in handy during practice. Please be creative and experiment!
Available in-person or live-stream via Zoom. In-person registration limited to 15 people. Pre-registration required.
