Ash Wednesday Opportunities
We encourage you to join us for worship on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd, as a way of intentionally setting apart Lent as a time of discernment and reflection.
Our Pastor John will once again be offering "drive through imposition of ashes" in the Casas Adobes Congregational UCC parking lot between 9:30 and 11:30 am. If you are on the go and would like ashes, you can “drive through” and receive a blessing and ashes as part of your day’s errands. Drive through the East Parking lot entrance off Oracle Rd. on Ash Wednesday.
Pastor John will also be leading an online Reflective Prayer Service service at 12:00 noon via Zoom. Contact the Church office or see the Tidings newsletter for the Zoom link.
Prayer Gathering There will be a quiet in-person prayer gathering in the Casas Adobes Congregational UCC plaza area in front of the sanctuary at 5:30 pm where ashes will be given out as we reflect around a fire. If you choose to come to the 5:30 service, please bring your own chair. Personal beverages are okay.
