Kriya meditation was brought to this country by Paramahansa Yogananda (author of "Autobiography of a Yogi" and featured in the film "Awakening"). Kriya's techniques and methodology puts the ability to make changes in our life within our reach. According to the Kriya Yogis, we are here to discover the meaning of our earth life - and to reach greater happiness, health and enlightenment, here, now, in this lifetime.
