Raja Yoga: The Eight Limbs of Yoga
Explore the basics of yoga philosophy
This seven-week course covers the eight limbs of yoga philosophy based on the Yoga Sutras. This ancient philosophy offers guiding principles leading to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle, and can complement any spiritual or religious tradition. While the eight limbs includes the poses (asanas), these will not be practiced in the class, but their purpose and approaches will be covered, along with breathwork (pranayama) and meditation. Each week builds on previous sessions and will be recorded for participants who miss a class. Led by certified instructor Naomi Greene, MA, YT-200.
