Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures. Rest provides the body an opportunity to renew and heal. Countless studies have proven the physical and emotional benefits of conscious resting. Learn more about this gentle yet dynamic form of yoga. It is appropriate for students with limited mobility, such as back problems, arthritis, fibromyalgia, or other health conditions requiring a gentler approach, including low energy levels. Postures are done with the support of props to let the body stretch and open on its own, allowing for greater circulation of blood, oxygen and energy.
