Discover the strength and flowing movements of Qigong, a traditional Chinese practice that brings together mindful movement, breathing, stretching, and meditation.
Discover the gentle strength and flowing movements of Qigong, a traditional Chinese practice that brings together mindful movement, breathing, stretching, and meditation. Sometimes described as “meditation in motion,” Qigong uses slow, coordinated movements to encourage flexibility, improve balance, loosen stiff joints, and release everyday muscular tension. Although the movements are gentle, they engage the whole body, helping develop strength, stability, coordination, and greater awareness of posture and breath. Rooted in the traditional understanding of qi, or life-force energy, this practice invites you to explore the connection between movement, breathing, and a quieter mind. You'll move through accessible, rhythmic sequences at a comfortable pace, with opportunities to relax, recharge, and settle into a greater sense of well-being. No previous Qigong experience is necessary. Movements can be adapted to different abilities and practiced standing or seated, making this a welcoming class for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
