Study Aquatic Bodywork at The Floating Stone

The Floating Stone Inn & Aqua Spa is offering aquatic-bodywork education in the perfect learning environment. As the only fully ionized, European-style aquatic spa in North America, their healing waters offer an opportunity to pursue a balance of mind and body. The water filtration systems provide the healthiest water possible for warm water pool classes, bathing, drinking and cooking.

The benefits of aquatic therapy range from increased mobility and flexibility to deep relaxation and alleviation of stress. The now-formalized teaching of these healing modalities has long been understood and practiced around the world in hot/cold springs, oceans, lakes and rivers. Carrying these traditions into our modern world, The Floating Stone offers six different pools of varying temperatures, from a classic cold plunge to the 104-degree hot tub.

In March, certification courses are offered to the public to learn a variety of massage and bodywork techniques, mindfulness practices and a strong understanding of movement as therapy, in the creative and practical 96-degree water environment. Participants will be prepared to enter the aquatic bodywork world as a professional or use the skills in personal life with confidence. The Inn is offering lodging at 20 percent off published rates and a 30 percent discount off spa services during the class period. Guests will also have unlimited access to water facilities, fitness and mindfulness classes.

Floating Stone Spa is located at 16-18, 20 Calle Iglesia, Tubac, AZ. For more information about courses and how to register or to make an appointment for a service or Inn stay, call 520-398-3193, email [email protected] or visit TheFloatingStoneInn.com.
