Alan D. Cross, Doctor of Chiropractic and owner of Alan D. Cross, D.C., P.C., is now offering treatment for neuropathy. Cross says this therapy has an over 90 percent satisfaction rate with patients, who can gain relief from months or years of numbness or searing pain in the lower extremity.

“Many people, including diabetic patients, suffer with loss of feeling or constant pain in the feet and/or legs,” says Cross. “Medication often doesn’t give substantial relief, or the patient prefers a route to restoring better nerve function without medication.” Although there is no guarantee with any treatment, this treatment has been proven to be highly effective in most patients, says Cross. “People who have given up on walking extended distances, dancing, bowling or other activities due to the pain or numbness may be able to resume the activities they miss.”

Cross uses the Palmer method of adjusting and is one of a limited number of chiropractors trained in the Atlas Orthogonal technique. He also uses functional medicine to treat patients with chronic conditions, including nutritional response testing to determine if there are issues with heavy metals, immune challenges or other factors preventing the patient from living life to their maximum potential.
