Natural Awakenings Tucson

September 2017 Letter From Publisher

Time cannot be stopped, and the laugh lines we’ve earned on our faces over the years should be worn proudly. But let’s face it, we all hope to look young and feel healthy for as long as possible. We’ve also seen those miraculous people who seem to be ageless—still active, eating well, looking young and feeling great into their eighties and nineties. What’s their secret?

While there is no proven plan for aging gracefully for everyone, there are certainly steps we can take early on that will keep us feeling and looking as young physically as we feel mentally, for years to come. This month’s edition of Natural Awakenings focuses on anti-aging research and helpful tips, as well as yoga—a tool that many ageless wonders use to stay young in body and mind.

Check out our new yoga and fitness guide, with information on fitness centers, personal trainers, Pilates and more. And when you’re finished with your workout, try one of the delicious and guilt-free recipes from our local foodies.

Stay tuned for the next couple of months as we plan our exciting 10th Anniversary Issue, to release in November. Please reach out to us if you’d like to be involved—we would love to include as many local contributors and advertisers as possible. You are what has made Natural Awakenings of Tucson possible for the last 10 years, and, we hope, for many more.

To graceful longevity,

Holly
