Natural Awakenings Tucson

October 2017 Letter From Publisher

There is art all around us, and artists, just the same. This issue’s cover art is an example that holds a special place in our hearts.

Cover artist Carolyn King, our regular Artist Spotlight writer, is not only a fan of Tucson artists (as made apparent in her interviews with many of our area’s creative forces)—she is an established artist herself.

Turning the tables this month, our Artist Spotlight features King as the interviewee. She currently has an art exhibit downtown at The Joel Valdez Public Library, from October 2 through 30. See more of her work in this issue, on page 32, and check out even more in person at the exhibit.

I am also excited to share that Natural Awakenings Tucson will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a community party next month, from 1 to 4 p.m., November 12, at the Reid Park Rose Garden. The event will be open to all, and will be a beautiful way to spend the afternoon meeting other conscious-minded people, and the movers and shakers of the healthy living community here. Check back in our November issue for more information.

As always, I wish you health and happiness, and extend my gratitude for sharing the past 10 years with Natural Awakenings of Tucson.
