New Offerings at Mindful Yoga

Jan 01, 2013 05:57PM

Mindful Yoga Studio, in Tucson, will conduct two yoga training courses soon. A Yin Yoga 30-Hour Intensive, with Michelle Marks, will begin January 10. Yoga From the Inside Out, with Jeff Martens and Donna DiNunzio, of Inner Vision Yoga of Phoenix, will take place from February 2 to 3.

Healthy body. Healthy mind. Healthy spirit. That’s the mission of Mindful Yoga Studio, which recently opened next to Trader Joe’s. Mindful Yoga offers classes for all levels. “We want to offer our students peace, calm and tranquility in the midst of the chaos of modern life,” says owner Hilda Oropeza. “Yoga has given me so much, and sharing that with my students is my goal.”

Oropeza has taught yoga for eight years and built a roster of some of Tucson’s most experienced yoga teachers. Mindful Yoga offers a wide range of classes, from wake-up stretch and get-the-blood-circulating flow classes to deep-stretch Yin Yoga and relaxing restorative classes. The schedule also includes Bliss Yoga and Peaceful Yoga.
