Women, Wellness and Wine at Tula Wellness Center

Apr 26, 2013 11:34AM

Tula Wellness is dedicated to helping women create balance of mind, body, and spirit. Tula, which means “balance” in Sanskrit, offers services ranging from integrative women’s healthcare to holistic skincare, acupuncture, massage and life/wellness coaching. Women, Wellness and Wine are Tula’s free wellness happy hour workshops where women explore topics from Hormone Harmony to creating vision boards.

Dr. Arianna Sholes-Douglas is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, trained in integrative medicine and health and wellness coaching. She received her integrative medical training from the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil. Sholes-Douglas founded Tula Wellness to create a space of positive healing energy where medicine is transformed from routine visits to opportunities to heal and make real change.

Sholes-Douglas offers a unique blend of medical expertise and spiritual intuition. “Visits are never just ‘visits,’” she says. “Invariably, we begin to explore the real reason for ‘dis-ease.’ My passion is in helping women uncover what’s blocking the healing. The medical aspect is relatively easy. The real work comes after we peel back layers and deal with what’s really blocking you.”
