Attend a Hawaiian Hula Festival Retreat

Luminous Adventures owner Lucia Maya and Zelie Duvauchelle are offering a new Hawaii Spiritual Retreat at an oceanfront retreat space at the east end of Moloka’i, in Puko’o, from May 1 to 6, which coincides with the Ka Hula Piko festival.

This annual festival celebrates the sacred art of hula. Moloka’i is known as the birthplace of hula, and many gather each year to perform, tell stories and share chants. The facilitators weave visits to the festival with other retreat activities, including deep personal work in circle with two gifted facilitators, play in the ocean and visits to sacred sites.

Participants receive individual attention in a small group setting, with opportunities to transform and heal though the unique gifts of this aina (the land) and the ocean of Moloka’i. Beachfront accommodations, one organic meal per day, ground transportation (including to and from the airport), and all sessions with Maya and Duvauchelle are included.
