Newest Technology Available Now at Cloud Nine Flotation Cloud Nine

Cloud Nine Flotation Center is now the only flotation tank center that offers Flotation Energy Therapy (FET), which simultaneously introduces energy healing with floating, yielding stunning results. This includes vibrational healing, light and sound therapy, crystal healing and reiki. Cloud Nine has recently returned to Tucson after a 25-year absence.

A flotation tank, also known as sensory deprivation tank, is a large tank that is quiet and dark, and has 10 inches of water with 800 pounds of Epsom salts in it, making it seem gravity-free. “When you are not fighting gravity and constantly taking in sensory information, your body has a lot of extra resources at its disposal to heal. For an hour, the outside world is gone, and amazing things can happen,” says Kalyn Wolf, owner of Cloud Nine Flotation, which boasts 30 years of experience.

New technology and advanced techniques make flotation tanks a resource that many can use to enhance and improve everything from sports performance, chronic pain and stress, to meditation practice. “With the constant barrage of electromagnetic fields, and an entire generation of ‘native’ computer users, people are finding the act of ‘unplugging’ from the world no longer a luxury, but a necessity to finding peace and balanced health,” says Wolf.
