Pathways to Metaphysics
Every Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m., Community of Light holds their Pathways to Metaphysics classes, at Far Horizons East in Tucson. Intended for anyone interested in learning about Metaphysics, the classes touch upon many of the Universal Laws. Metaphysics is a broad topic that includes, but is not limited to, the subjects of philosophy, parapsychology, mysticism, ESP, dreams, astrology, meditation, self-help studies, positive thinking, life after death, reincarnation and more. It is a study of the paranormal.
Within the spectrum of Metaphysics are the Universal Laws, a set of principles many believe orchestrate the workings of the Universe. They are: The Laws of Oneness, Correspondence, Vibration, Attraction, Action, Cause & Effect, Compensation, Polarity, Perpetual Transmutation of Energy, Rhythm, Gender and Relativity.
There are many books and articles that go into some of the individual laws. The Law of Attraction, for example, is highlighted in the 2006 best-selling, self-help book, The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne. Thoughts and actions that are put out into the universe will come back to the individual. Thinking positive thoughts will bring about positive situations. Thinking negative thoughts can keep someone stuck in a bad position.
There are countless ways to study the mysteries of the Universal Laws, and how they can help not only an individual, but humanity in general. It is beneficial to study these topics in a group setting where ideas and experiences can be shared.
