Natural Awakenings Tucson

Paula Poundstone at The Fox Theatre

Since 1979, Paula Poundstone, a native of Sudsbury, Massachusetts, has thrived in the competitive environment of stand-up comedy, and she has become one of the greatest humorists of our time. Poundstone will be performing in Tucson live on May 8, 2020 at The Fox Theatre. Co-promoted with Comedy for Charity, tickets are available at FoxTucson.com/event/paula-poundstone/tickets.

Poundstone keeps audiences on their toes with her scintillating comedy. The trademark that has made her famous is her ability to be spontaneous with a crowd.  She effortlessly incorporates the crowd into her act and riffs with the audience. “No two shows I do are the same,” says Poundstone.

In addition to her stand-up gigs, Poundstone is renowned as a fan favorite on the hit NPR podcast, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me. “The panelists are unscripted, so it’s perfect for me. I feel like I’m a batter in a batting cage,” she relates.
