For those unfamiliar, sugaring is a process of hair removal that consists of a ball of sugaring paste made from just water, sugar and lemon. The paste is applied to the skin and is then pulled up and off, taking unwanted hair along with it. It does not remove layers of healthy skin, as does waxing, but instead is a gentle exfoliation treatment. Compared to waxing, sugaring is less painful, safe for the skin and environmentally friendly.
Clients should expect to feel truly cared for, no matter what services they receive. “Each and every client is special to us and there are no two visits ever the same,” says Porter. “We want all our clients and patients to be truly known and to feel a sense of deep caring. Our place is one of healing and rejuvenation.”
