In Buddhist tradition, there are seven factors of awakening. The first is known as Sati, which in English translates to awareness. This gift can then lead to investigation, joy, tranquility, concentration and equanimity. At Colibri Holistic Coaching, Carla Echavarri helps clients bring awareness to the areas that are blocking them or making them feel stuck so that organically, they may start to get more clarity.
“As the fog lifts, you intuitively get a better sense of direction—a sense of what’s next. As you heal, you vibrate at a higher frequency that allows you to just be; hence, the doing in your life happens organically and without too much effort. You can then channel this healing, positive energy into concrete actions which create a beautiful ripple effect. Now you can create the change you need to live a fuller, more joyful life that truly honors who you came here to be,” enthuses Echavarri. “Through some empowering techniques you can, at your own pace, regain that balance and connection to yourself and to that space of inner wisdom, calm and clarity that we all are born with.”
Echavarri has a bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Arizona, and a master’s in Health Science with a specialty in the psychological well-being of caregivers for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients. She has several years of experience as a college and high school teacher in the areas of health, community health and anatomy & physiology. Echavarri has taken specialized courses in Gestalt therapy, reiki and yoga, and is currently pursuing Bioenergetic and Acupressure Healing training.
In sessions with Echavarri, clients can expect: Pranayama breathing techniques, stretching exercises, meditation and visualization, cathartic release through verbal expression and healing energy channeling (reiki).
