Desert Mindful Nutrition exists to empower clients by providing an inclusive, food-first, non-diet approach to improving health through nutrition. They focus on goals to reduce symptoms and improve overall physical and mental well-being, including personalized nutritional recommendations and support for meaningful lifestyle changes in areas of stress reduction, sleep quality and movement.
“First, we examine our relationship with food and its impact on our body, adding in supportive nutrient-rich foods, on occasion identifying and eliminating symptom-triggering foods. Supportive supplements are recommended on an as-needed basis, focusing on foods first. Personalized nutrition tailors recommendations to your specific needs, therefore we work toward sustainable changes that provide long-term results,” explains Jayme White, MSCN, founder of Desert Mindful Nutrition. “Typically, avoiding calorie counting or long-term food tracking is advised. Education is provided on what our bodies need to thrive, from nutrition basics to mindful eating strategies, and stress reduction techniques.”
Services are offered virtually or in person at Desert Mindful Nutrition’s Northwest Tucson office. While virtual visits are often convenient, many people benefit from the physical connection of meeting in person for support.
