Soul and Mind — What’s the Difference?
Apr 26, 2012 01:29PM
Most of our lives have been spent in the development of our mind, and for many, it’s the only voice we know. Yet within each person, there is the “still small voice” of the soul, waiting to be tapped into. The Know Thyself as Soul Foundation presents a free, one-hour class, The Soul’s Relationship To Mind, from 10 to 11 a.m., May 12, at Unity of Tucson.
“When we become a witness to our thoughts, rather than being immersed in them, we allow the soul to give perhaps a higher perspective,” states Susan Thompson, facilitator. “It’s important to cultivate a listening heart as a spiritual seeker of truth, yet how do we discern the difference between the soul’s promptings and the mind’s desires?”
The foundation for discussion will be rooted in Sant Mat-View of the Saints ancient principles that are so meaningful in today’s culture.
Location: 3617 N Camino Blanco, Annex Room 3. For more information, call 520-603-1558 or visit SantMat.net.
