Inaugural Expo Benefits Local Charities

The Body and Sol Women’s Expo, to be held March 8 and 9, 2014, at the Tucson Convention Center, is a multifaceted event that’s all about innovation, education and entertainment. Learn how you can “Begin With Yes” when embarking on a new journey, support two of our great local charities and have fun along the way.

Wings for Women was founded by Nadia Valle in June 2010, and helps women and children with basic needs such as rent, utilities, job searching and resume writing. In 2012, they improved the quality of life for 48 women and 68 children in our community.

Youth On Their Own (YOTO) was founded in 1986 by Ann Young. YOTO‘s priority is the education of youth 12 to 21 years of age, and it focuses on promoting high school graduation and continued success for homeless youth. YOTO has provided financial assistance and guidance to 930 students since its inception.

A portion of the proceeds from this event, including 100 percent of all auctions at the Expo, will benefit these two nonprofits.
