Tucson Healing Touch Program

May 31, 2015 08:24PM

Barbara Hart

Barbara Hart, certified Healing Touch practitioner, will offer a Healing Touch Level 1 class, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., June 13 and 14. Participants will learn how to support health and balance for themselves and their families using light touch to balance the body’s energy.

Healing Touch therapy began over 25 years ago with a certification program that has helped thousands of people in 30 countries and is integrated in over 40 hospitals. The class will give participants the basic skills to reduce their own and others’ pain from arthritis, joints and more. The class offers 16 continuing education units.

“My favorite thing about Healing Touch is being able to facilitate a balance in the energy of others,” says Hart. “Giving others the gift of energy balancing is a sacred event for my client and myself. Using these skills and modalities to give clients the opportunity to heal themselves is a true blessing.”

Hart has been involved with teaching and private practice of Healing Touch since 1991, working with babies, children, adults and the elderly with many different issues and diagnoses. She has studied for many years with Janet Mentgen, the founder of Healing Touch.
