Pamela J. Buchanan’s experience curing her rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and hepatitis C using the Gerson Therapy led her to write her book, Curing Incurability, which was released in June. Her struggle with these autoimmune and infectious diseases has made her an advocate for using conventional medicine in tandem with alternative healing therapies.
Several years ago, autoimmune disease and hepatitis C threatened an early, painful death for Buchanan. Today, she has been declared officially disease free. After using a modified version of the plant-based Gerson diet, she was able to cure herself of rheumatoid arthritis and lupus as well as bring down her hepatitis C viral load.
“At the very least, it is my hope that my experience will let others know they are not alone,” says Buchanan. “At best, I want people to know that there are options to pills, chemotherapy and radiation. These options need to be presented, explored and embraced as valid alternatives. It is my belief that conventional medicine can be used in conjunction with alternative healing therapies.”
