Natural Awakenings Tucson

Tumbleweeds Celebrates 7th Anniversary

Dana Rae Zygmunt and Kim A. Williams opened the doors to Tumbleweeds Health Center seven years ago this month on 11/11/11. Zygmunt, a U.S. military veteran, and Williams, an American Sign Language interpreter, opened their doors with the desire to aid as many people as possible and help them reach their health goals in a natural way, have done just that. As one of the first cannabis businesses in Arizona, they are trailblazers in Tucson’s medicinal marijuana industry, having helped thousands of patients with healthcare needs.

Education is key when choosing to use medicinal marijuana. Tumbleweeds does their best to help educate Arizona about Medical Cannabis and its amazing ability to help those suffering all over the world.

With 1,500 square feet, Tumbleweeds offers a warm and comfortable space for their patients to relax while waiting for their appointment. Patients can watch educational DVDs, read from resource books and browse a number of accessories while drinking organic
coffee and tea.

Another way that Tumbleweeds is helping to educate is with their live radio show. Weekly from 8 to 9 a.m., people can get up-to-date, live information about what’s happening with medical cannabis laws in Arizona, the dispensary process, news, education and everything happening in our town. Live interviews, strain reviews and product reviews are also regular features of the show. To listen, simply visit TumbleweedsHealthCenter.com and click the radio dropdown button on the top of the page.

To celebrate their 7th anniversary, Tumbleweeds Health Center will host an event with cake, raffles, prizes and more, on November 10. Stop in this month and wish them a happy anniversary, and don’t forget to thank them for their years of educating Tucsonans on the benefits of medicinal marijuana.

Tumbleweeds is located at 4826 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, and is open Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-3pm. For more information, call 520-838-4430 or email [email protected]. See ad, page 36.
