The Magic of Microcurrent Energy Medicine

All of our life functions are directly or indirectly associated with electrical activity. The rapidly growing field of Energy Medicine encompasses many disciplines whose common thread is the recognition that all disturbances in the physical body and emotions are directly linked to imbalances of this vital energy or chi/qi.
Microcurrent electromagnetic treatment uses gentle, often sub-sensational electrical currents applied through acupressure points delivered in the millionths of amps range to restore that balance.
These subtle energies are more harmonious with the body’s innate bioelectric activity than the high-intensity milliamp currents used in traditional TENS electro-therapy, often providing significant improvement to a number of dis-eases such as neck, shoulder and back pain, fibromyalgia and nerve pain, allergies and asthma, to name a few.
Additionally, skin care professionals use microcurrent to substantially improve skin laxity over time, as it stimulates muscle memory and boosts product penetration by up to 80 percent. These microcurrent properties help support our aesthetic homecare regimen and may significantly extend the rejuvenating benefits of dermal fillers, Threads and Botox, as the facial muscles regain and retain their youthful tone over time with a treatment series.

Suzanne Pear is a Registered Nurse with a Doctorate in Epidemiology, a Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Quantum Energy Practitioner. At the Pampered Skin Studio, she performs Energy Light Rejuvenation treatments which couple microcurrent and LED light therapy to provide “whole body healing disguised as a facial”, using customized energy frequencies and products tailored to the client’s “current” needs.
